Our CFO's first love may be the world of numbers and systems, but a
close second has got to be her passion for fine wine.
Christy spent many years building a successful career as a top
executive for such high profile firms as Crum & Foster,
Fireman's Fund Insurance and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Then one day, she decided to leave the P&L columns behind to
pour wine for a Sonoma County winery. Talk about passion!
Fortunately for us, she decided to return to the spreadsheets - but
not before holding a few financial positions at local wineries and
taking a winemaking class at UC Davis (look out Mike
Sullivan!)
So now Benovia has our first-ever CFO who's not only a whiz at
financial analysis and strategy, but knows her way around a winery
too.
These days when Christy's not balancing the books, you can find her
balancing her life with walks on the beach, escapes into the woods,
or seeing the world atop her Harley-Davidson
