Four Brothers, Sullivan Vineyard
Farmed by Winemaker Mike Sullivan and his brothers, the Four
Brothers, Sullivan Vineyard encompasses 11 acres along a ridge top
off of Sonoma Mountain.
Parts of this vineyard sit in both the Bennett Valley and Sonoma
Mountain vineyard appellations. The elevation ranges from 900-750
feet. The soils are mostly Sprekels series clay loam with some
volcanic rock. There are three different hillside sections of this
vineyard planted separately to Pinot Noir (777, Vosne Romanee,
Pommard), Chardonnay (hyde), and Grenache (tablas creek). The
vineyard is cane pruned and vertically trellised, and farmed
meticulously.
