Sonoma Mountain Chardonnay
This very limited production Chardonnay comes from
the Four Brothers Sullivan Vineyard along the western slope of
Sonoma Mountain. One of those brothers is our very own winemaker,
Mike Sullivan. This vineyard is situated in a cool microclimate
because of its proximity to the cold wind and fog that blow through
the Estero Gap from the Pacific Ocean. This wine was whole
cluster pressed and fermented with indigenous yeast and aged for 16
months in French oak. It is bursting with aromas of orange
nectarine, marmalade and ripe stone fruits, followed by layers of
poached pear and candied pineapple, with hints of vanilla bean and
baking spices.
